What We Do Wednesday #6

June 22, 2016 By Dani Wagner 4 Comments

Welcome back to another week of What We Do Wednesday. As summer has finally hit the East Coast to stay our adventures have gotten a little more sandy with a lot more water action. I am so incredibly thankful that we live less than an hour from the beach!

This week is full of beach trips, fun with Grandpa (from Texas), animal adventures, and more!

We go to the beach OFTEN! B could spend all day everyday swimming in the bay near our house. Tuna is a little less adventurous and Shrimp just wants to go night-night under the umbrella. Yet we all can have a blast together! PS. Thank you for G for taking this super cute picture of us!

We went Blueberry picking at our local orchard. I am in love with this Orchard (Fifer’s Orchard) and all it’s events, festivals, and fun.

Blueberry pickers at their finest! U pick orchards are such a fun way to spend a few hours together as a family and come out with some amazing produce! Plus the kiddos can learn a thing or two about orchards, plants, where their food comes from, and more.

Beach day take 2. The girls working hard at the sand sifter. The beach lends itself to great pouring and dumping activities. Plus it’s a great therapy session for Tuna and her ankles!

We visited our local produce market for some fresh fruit and of course these gorgeous Sunflowers. I love having fresh flowers in the house and love, love that I can grab them at the local market for less than $3. There is just something about fresh flowers!

We saw a Bald Eagle in the wild! Although it was too buggy to go for a nature walk, we were still able to bird watch and find this majestic species!

More fun animal sightings on our nature drive. In this picture you may be able to notice the cute little raccoon playing in the water in the background. We had a blast watching him splash around.

Well, that’s all for now! I hope you have a week full of outdoor fun and adventures!

Here a few things we used this week:

Until next week,

Yes! There is something about sunflowers. A friend had got sunflowers for me and they were in my kitchen for week- they’re so beautiful and cheerful aren’t they!
