This week I am so happy to be a part of the Homeschool Blogging Network Blog Series at CBB+. To read my post, Ways to Study Nature Through Nature Walks, head over to the CBB+ Blog.
As you have probably learned by now we love to play outside, go for walks, and explore new places through nature walks. We love ponds, rivers, creeks, animals, birds, mud, dirt, and anything we can touch, play with, or get dirty in! Even though my girls are still young they are constantly learning something new about nature just through our interactions. These walks allow us to study nature without even realizing it!
Kids of all ages will benefit from nature walks. You can even add activities to your nature walks to dive deeper into what you are studying or to make it more challenging.
As a mom to three little ones our nature walks are almost therapeutic for me as well, read Why We Go On Adventures to learn more. And don’t forget to check out our Nature Scavenger Hunt results, these are fun for the whole family and can involve other family and friends as well.
How will you use nature walks to help your kids study nature?
We LOVE nature walks around here! Being in nature and soaking it all in is so refreshing and there is always so much to see and learn.
Tina that is so true! And I love that there are so many different ways to add too or change up our nature walks!
We love nature walks and hikes. We try to go through all the seasons and there’s always something new to see.
Joanne, Spring and Fall are my favorites! There is always so much to see.
