Fall is an absolutely wonderful time to venture outdoors, explore nature, and play. The weather is often tolerable in most places and the changing of seasons provides a ton of play things (leaves, acorns, etc.). We recently added a morning basket to our homeschool day with a focus one day each week on poetry and nature. We recently stumbled upon ChesLen Preserve while camping nearby in Coatesville, Pa. We found this super cute KOA Campground right on the Brandywine River which sounded just heavenly. I imagined that we would spend our days playing in the river right at our campsite and our evening falling asleep to it's sweet ripples. I don't know about you but I love turtles... especially when you see the turtle nest postings on the beach. Last week we talked all about Ducks and this week it's Turtles.
