Why Hello There! After a fun little getaway to Niagara Falls last week I just had to share this. You know you are a teacher/ homeschool mom when you plan a week’s worth of lessons as you are walking around, exploring a new place on vacation. Unfortunately the girls aren’t quite old enough for these lessons, but I truly can’t wait until they are!

These lessons can be adapted for kids ages 7 and up. They will walk your family through the history of Niagara Falls, the geological forces acting on the waterfalls, an art lesson and so much more.

Niagara Falls is one of those places I’d love to visit someday. I know what you mean about planning lessons on the fly — we’ve done that with most of the Southwestern United States!
