Every now and then I hear a song, a quote, or read something that totally stops me in my tracks. Or maybe it just sinks in and it’s like in hearing it for the first time. Either way this is the message that has been battering my brain for days… There is Hope!
This post was supposed to be all about an amazing little adventure we recently had (and I’ll come back to that next week), but then I heard this song on my way home dinner with some friends and I knew that this was something that needed to be said… again!
There is Hope
The day today I was supposed to talk to you Beth Easter neck Maryland but instead I want to talk about something that is a little closer to my heart. Mom’s moms. You know whether you are a mom i’m on the works full-time or mom that is just returning to work after a baby there is nothing absolutely nothing simple about this task. As I had dinner tonight with a group of ladies and similar similar walks I was reminded of the struggles of a mom. As a mom myself to three under the age of five I know too well the struggles of leaving your kids at home with someone else dropping them off at daycare finding the schedule that works best for your work schedule and so much more. I also know all too wellThe Space the struggles of a mom with a special needs child. Whether you are going back to the for the first time or transitioning to a new stage in your life with kids there’s hope. There is hope for you mom. Whether you want to admit it or not God gives the struggles struggles and whether we want to mitt order admit it or not he helps us get through the struggles. For the first time mom going back to work you will find a schedule you’ll find a way to see your kids every day you will find away. For the mom is struggling to find a balance. You will find time to clean your house. You will find time to make healthy meals. You Time to do laundry. You will find time to spend time with your kids. To the mom gets home if you’re anything like me you will feel like you have no room to complain you you’ll feel like you don’t have a friend in the world. The truth is your days do you matter you have given up a career you’ve given up passion you’ve given up friends for your kids, That is an ultimate sacrifice an amazing sacrifice for your kids you too will find a balance. You will find a way to connect with other moms and Stiller situations similar hopes and dreams. You are giving your kids and alternative to education and will find a balance between education and socialization. There is nothing easy about being a man mom. There’s nothing easy about what we do. Whether you work all day you’re home all day you work nights you work weekends or you work in between naps there is nothing easy about being a parent. It’s time we stop judging and criticizing and D valuing the work the parents are doing on a daily basis when they work I don’t work or home or not home if you’re a parent you have one of the greatest job in the world and it’s time we start supporting each other and those jobs helping each other brazing each other at supporting each other challenging each other to be the best that we can be for future generations. Being a parent is not about your life today it’s not about whether you get to go out for margaritas on Wednesday night being a parent is about the future generation what are we offering what are we achieving and helping and raising for the future generation how are we making our country a better place. That all starts with us right now. So whether you feel completely out of place, Whether you feel like you don’t fit in or whether you feel stressed to the max. Just know you are making a difference you are creating our future and you are amazing.
