Today, I wanted to share with you some information about this amazing (new to me) concept, The Bullet Journal.
I am a list writer, a sticky note queen, and a champion crosser-offer. Writing lists and checking things off keeps me focused and feeling productive. It also helps keep me sane.
I’ve always been a list maker, even in high school / college I kept a calendar to write important dates and made daily/weekly lists of things that had to be done/ wanted to get done. It’s just my thing.
Since becoming a mom, lists have become necessary. If it’s not written, chances are I will forget it. It’s so bad that I will walk into a room and forget what I needed to do.
My phone has multiple notes pages complete with lists of things I want to do, books I see out and about and want to read, blog post ideas, etc. I keep an ongoing grocery list on the fridge, a planner in my work bag, and a to do list on the counter. And while I love all of my lists, I would feel much more organized and less scatter-brained if they were all in one functional place, hence my obsession with the Bullet Journal.
If you find yourself nodding along to my rant or shouting “Hey that’s me” then I encourage you to check out a few of these posts on The Bullet Journal.

I just ordered my very own Leuchtturm1917 hardcover journal and can’t wait to give it a try. I’ll be sure to keep you posted on its awesomeness. In the meantime, do an evaluation of your list taking style and/or your use of a planner/calendar, maybe just maybe, the Bullet Journal is for YOU, too!
