Back to School Favorites

As most of us are heading back or have already headed back to school this month I wanted to share some of my favorite organizational tools and goodies.

As a teacher, often moving from classroom to classroom year after year, I absolutely love plastic storage bins. These are a great way to store things and if you don’t like the clear doors a little scrapbook paper will do wonders. I still use them now in my home for school supplies, toys, bathroom extras, and so much more.

These storage baskets are my new absolute favorite. You can easily store folders, books, and other odds and ends. I found a few of them at Target for $3 and stocked up. I use them to holder folders that contain what we are going to do for the week.

I also found some adorable file folders just like these that have proven to be a lifesaver. I can easily sort papers, worksheets, or activities that I plan to use throughout the week. Couple these folders with the storage bins above and you have an excellent organization system.

These canvas bins are another that rank at the top of my list. I love that i can easily slide them under tables or on shelves. They add some color to the room and easily hide toys, papers, school supplies, or anything else that needs hiding.

I hope that your school year is off to a great start. Do you have any amazing organizational strategies that you would like to share?
